Zoltan Kodaly was a master of educational music, and flexible instrumentation makes this a great choice for your full orchestra! Your string players will love the energetic Hungarian dance rhythms, and there are great solo opportunities for your wind section. The cimbalo part is playable by your talented pianist or mallet percussionist, and adds a fiery character to the music. Use Kodaly's original instrumentation of strings, woodwinds, trumpets and horns; or add the optional saxophone and low brass parts for a fuller sound and additional solo opportunies.
