4 to 8 young cellists? Need something for a class or concert? This is a short 38 measure piece for cello quartet, written with advanced beginner and intermediate players in mind. It's all in first position. Double stops are open strings only. Written in G Minor, it has some first finger extensions for Eb then reaching for 4th finger G on the D string. Everyone gets to play a few measures of the motivic solo but no one is ever alone. And it's fun!
