Invitation to a Party

Author Debbie Goodwin presents 16 sketches for children to perform that use the parables and miracles of Jesus to teach the meaning of the kingdom of God, his character, and discipleship. These scripts have very little to memorize (a narrator, simple lines, and lots of mime) but call for lots of imagination. They require at best two to three one hour rehearsals. Also included in the collection are two types of group participation stories: rhythm stories and audience participation stories. Performance time: Invitation to a Party - 10 to 12 minutes; all other sketches 5 to 10 minutes.
