Italian Elegy

Edvard Grieg meets Nino Rota; that is to say it's "Godfather-esque". Originally written as a piano solo, Italian Elegy is also available for most solo instruments with piano accompaniment as well. This version is played on a , tuba which sounds hauntingly familiar to the Francis Ford Coppola film. It is also very idiomatic writing for the instrument and can be a great learning solo for young players.
