Meander is an original piece written by Jacki Alexander for intermediate to early advanced solo piano. Visualize a lovely trip down a meandering river with luscious scenery as you pass through different “tempos” (speed, pace, etc.) of the winding waterway. There is a turbulent section that is rather dark and contains a classical/Baroque-like few measures ending in ¾ metre before returning to the 4/4 time signature. This piece contains triplets, 16th notes, fermatas, short fermatas, ritardando, crescendo and decrescendo, diminuendo, ff, and ledger line notes.

An interesting take on the original What Child Is This? My arrangement is a waltz and switches from minor to major key signatures. It has an original interlude and is a unique arrangement to play at the intermediate level.
