Jazz Suite for Flute Quartet

Three movements in three different styles are offered in Senchuk's flute quartet, Jazz Suite. In the opening movement "Two-Hand Hot!," a bright swing tune has all players involved in intertwining solo lines. The second movement, "KB Blues," slows things down a bit, with its blues bass line, medium tempo, and a featured improvisation section for the first flute. "Irregular Swing" ends the suite in a fast swing tune, almost bebop, that switches time signatures periodically. For advanced performers.
