The familiar words of Charles Wesley are treated to a thoughtful, new musical setting by respected musician, Ken Berg. Beginning in E minor with treble voices in an unadorned unison the voices soon break into parts, eventually opening into 4 parts. The men join the chorus on the theme, eventually letting the women rest and move into a 4-part portion of their own. All resume together and end quietly in E Major.
