The Green Book (Pre-A) starts with a seven page explanation of the fundamentals. The remainder of the book applies those fundamentals with early elementary songs on the grand staff, one hand at a time in middle C position at first, culminating in pieces with one hand having the melody, the other having up to two notes in the harmony. C Major position is introduced. Each lesson book includes one or two true/false piano quizzes related to new concepts.
