Jolly Old Saint Nicholas

This arrangement of Jolly Old Saint Nicholas is a fresh new look at the nineteenth century carol. With an interesting tuba part and a melody which is alternated between the euphonium and tuba sections, this medium easy arrangement is designed for quick playability and is enjoyable for both musicians to play and audiences to hear. It was created as a stand-alone carol and is also available as one of three movements in a larger work entitled Vintage Christmas Tubas. Besides the normal euphonium and tuba parts, it comes with a part for sleigh bells and also treble clef Bb and Eb tuba transpositions for the occasional player who reads them or who is a quick transfer from an upper brass instrument.
