The ultimate result of a senior moment on my part when playing solo violin at a wedding, Joyful Jesu is a combination of Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee played with jig-like exuberance. This piece works great as a wedding processional or a postlude in church. It also works nicely as a concert piece. There is a suggested repeat back to the beginning that facilitates its ease as a recessional.
