Jubilate Deo in C Major

This 3-minute work is another of Britten's best-known and most often performed short choral works.  With its lively and spirited organ accompaniment and its simple and direct vocal phrases it positively bubbles with the joyful mood of the words.  Short and to the point, it is also straightforward and well within the reach of most choirs.  It does need a competent organist who can perform rhythmically, and play scales!
