Kawouno Wan Gi Pi

From Kenya comes this rhythmic, energetic a cappella work with percussion, in the Dholuo language. Celebrating the gift of water to the land in the form of rain and rivers, the unison singing builds into natural harmonies. This creative arrangement is perfect as a processional, or even staged with movement. A pronunciation/translation guide is included, but the text is simple, consisting of only a few repeated phrases.
