Kid On the Mountain Jig

Uptempo arrangement of one of the musical treasures in the genre of Celtic music, arranged by award-winning El McMeen for classical string trio - violin, viola, and cello. This powerful five-part Irish jig, in 9/8 time (called an Irish "slip jig"), oscillates between the major and minor. It is El's favorite jig of all time, is a joy to play, and is very entertaining to audiences. The music consists of a score, and music for the separate instruments.
