"Kimbemba Mbemba" for Piano Solo: I have entitled this piece Kimbemba Mbemba in lingala, means a butterfly. Firstly, I would like to stress the fact that there is a metamorphosis process from a caterpillar to an adult butterfly. Amazing! Secondly, a butterfly is a symbol of love in many cultures, generally speaking. Based on aesthetic view, both red blue butterflies represent love passion given their colorful aspect. Indeed, in Asian culture especially in Chinese Mandarin Culture, 2 butterflies gathering together symbolize a strong marriage or "you will find love soon". This is a very significant sign in terms of Valentine's Day. In the meantime, this concept existed also both in Mexican Ancient Culture for a butterfly is called a "prince of flowers". Also, in Botswana(Africa),butterflies used to be symbols of love. In this work, the main rhythmic formulas are: syncopations, mordent, sixteen thirty-second notes triplets. In addition, this piano music is suitable in Music Education field as it depicts the role played by butterflies in terms of our ecosystems when it comes to talk about the pollination of plants. In substance, this music can be performed at any time in order to strengthen love.
