Kivgik

For thousands of years, indigenous tribes would gather to share stories through dance, song and drumming. This tradition still exists in Alaska in the form of the kivgik or "messenger feast." Special percussion effects add to the driving pulse that re-creates this exciting and vivid cultural phenomenon.
