La Moto

La Moto (the motorcycle), is my take on the busy streets of the Dominican Republic, heavily overtaken by the fast-moving, and dangerous motorcycles. The fast-moving melodic lines represent different vehicles, zoomingthrough traffic, honking their horns, and living life on the edge. Pay careful attention to the short articulations, especially in the slower moving section. The piano part in the beginning is meant to be played freely.
