Lacrimosa

Created for the occasion of the second anniversary of the Polish composer's death, this arrangement of Penderecki's funeral hymn is accompanied by organ rather than orchestra, as it was originally written. Featuring a soprano soloist, dissonant harmonies, and changing meters, this setting of the traditional text is a welcome challenge for more advanced choirs.
