Lament for a Black Sedan

Here is an Art Blakey Jazz Messengers-style hard-bop tune a riff blues with a bop bridge for medium-advanced jazz ensemble. The main melody contains 16th-note triplets for trumpets and then trombones with the drums playing along and the 1st and 2nd trpts and t-bones play A's and Ab's in unison. SampleSolos are provided for the trumpet and tenor sax on a split chorus and trombone as well. The 2nd alto solos no sample just changes. A sax soli in the beginning and at the end on the bridge makes for nice harmony in motion. Backgrounds for all solos. Most parts two pages. ALL band parts are printed as single-sided single pages to facilitate the making of a fair use or archival copy as is common practise. You get to decide the layout that is best for you band. NEVER a D.S from the end to some place inside the chart as ALL GateWay Jazz charts are straight-through with repeats confined to a single page. Fully notated chords for piano in treble clef only and a opt. guitar part included as a Bass/Gtr/Pno Uni-Part with bassline and changes.
