Las Amarillas

Here's an arrangement of a traditional Mexican song that will require some work, but will be well worth the effort! Set at a very fast tempo, with some tricky syncopations, complete with yips, yelps and "ai yi yie's," it's full of energy and audience appeal. Two full pages of editorial notes provide cultural background, a translation, a pronunciation guide and instructions for body percussion (hand claps, etc.) in the choir.
