Text by Alphonse de Lamartine, music by Raphael Terreau. Duration : circa 2'40'' "Lustrous colors, shimmering lightness, fragility, almost magical metamorphosis ... That's what the butterfly evokes, a symbol of soul and immortality in many cultures. Lamartine confers him, in his New Poetic Meditations, as much sensuality as spirituality. That's what I wanted to let breathe, through these modal harmonies and these moving rhythms." Raphael Terreau Award at the composition contest "Eufonia 2019" in Bordeaux (France)
