Let All the Multitudes of Light

Howard Helvey's original hymn tune, TUPELO, is set to Frederick Brodie MacNutt's festive text that is a great choice for Eastertide, All Saints' Day, or other occasions. Scored for SATB voices and organ, it opens with a stanza for unison voices, followed by a musically contrasting second stanza that is four-part and mostly a cappella. The final majestic stanza is scored primarily for unison voices with descant, culminating in a four-part postlude.
