It begins with the familiar Ash Grove tune set to a well known text, and also includes a slower, legato statement of We Gather Together. Finally, a faster All Things Bright and Beautiful emerges to conclude the piece. Available parts for flute, oboe, cello, horn and percussion along with an optional brief narration combine to make this a truly festive offering.
