Let Me Go

Let Me Go is a setting of two of Christina Rossetti's poems, Let Me Go, and When I Am Dead, My Dearest, the latter of which she wrote in 1848 when she was still a teenager. The setting begins as a solemn funeral march, eventually taking on a more hopeful and reassuring tone.
