Mok Wai Chi’s original composition preserves the gentle, serene spirit of the hymn, with a smooth, lyrical melody that conveys warmth and peace.

In Yu Yuanqing’s wind band arrangement, the simple tune is expanded into rich, layered textures. Woodwinds paint a soft, delicate atmosphere, while brass add warmth and solemnity. The work balances sacred, hymn‑like beauty with the full, sonorous sound of a concert band. Its calm, uplifting mood makes it suitable for worship, ceremonies, and reflective concert programs.
