Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming

This time-honored German carol is newly arranged for choir and organ. The first two stanzas unfold in warm two-part harmony in D major before rising to F major and a rich four-part texture. A brief choral coda tenderly reinforces the uplifting words, "God lightens every load."
