Log Cabin Blues

This perennial ragtime favorite is arranged here for xylophone solo with concert band. It is based on rather easy and accessible band parts that could be played by a wide range of junior high, high school, university, or professional ensembles.  The xylophone part is busy and showy and offers a good workout for the mallet soloist.  It is a great way to showcase an ensemble member or for use with a guest clinician or performer!
