Longing to Draw near

The music for SATB choir and piano is perfectly matched to the yearning for intimate fellowship with the Savior which the text conveys so well.  The tender declaration of the atoning sacrifice and a dramatic invitation to "Take and eat, and drink... and live" is followed by an a cappella expression of childlike faith, "I stretch my hand, I touch Your robe... I feel Your peace."  A significant way to prepare hearts for the Lord's Table.
