Lord You Have Come to the Seashore

This clever combination of two well-known songs, both in 6/8, is set for SATB chorus, keyboard, guitar, flute, and oboe. The focus of the song is on the verses which to some extent combine material from both songs; the refrains to both songs are presented only once in succession. Congregations familiar with both songs will enjoy this presentation, liturgically appropriate for Communion, especially during Holy Week (specifically, Holy Thursday).
