Love's Tempest

This original is based on a translation of a 19th-century text by Appollon Maykov. A fluid piano accompaniment imitates the motion of a tempestuous sea as legato voices ride above. The contour of the melody and the depth of the text create a beautiful marriage of music and words. Incorporate the cello part (included) to add another haunting layer.
