Luvina

Luvina was composed in response to Mexican author Juan Rulfo’s unspeakably sad short story of the same name. The music reflects a bleak world described by Rulfo, a place where slow and insistent burdens are met with simple, unquestioning acceptance. Also available in expanded form for solo piano and prerecorded digital audio, as Vendaval de Luvina.
