Making Music

Create, play and experience making music using only your mouse and imagination with this innovative software by world-renowned composer Morton Subotnick.  "Making Music" presents all the components of music in such a way that children can experience sound not only with their ears but also with their eyes.  Activities include a mix-and-match melody exercise, where music is divided into beginning, middle and ending sections to teach structure, and an exercise for combining melodies and rhythms, for an understanding of the complete piece of music.  Fun, interactive games reinforce concepts using the knowledge from the other activities.  Ages 5 and up.
