Man I Love

This brilliant 1924 Gershwin tune is an early example of his genius. This arrangement is an expansion of a trio version with the late, wonderful, bebop pianist, Hod O'Brien and the fine guitarist Steve Brown. It's an up tempo version in which the bass plays the melody and there's a strong ensemble chorus for the whole band. Hod and Steve both made harmonic and rhythmic contributions to the trio arrangement, and the ensemble is derived from my recorded bass solo.
