March of the Arachnids

The second movement from Randall Standridge's "Garden Suite." The Itsy Bitsy Spider and Shoo Fly are its primary melodic material, though they are given some quirky little twists. Standridge shows off his creative writing skills by combining the two melodies for a rousing ending. A strikingly original march that will help teach students to play in 6/8.
