Mass for the Maker of Heaven and Earth

As a starting point, this mass setting for unaccompanied mixed voices incorporates elements of the credo motif, calling to mind the phrase ‘maker of heaven and earth’. There is extensive polyphonic writing throughout, and even when moments of homophony occur, the musical textures remain ever changing. It is only at the conclusion that heaven and earth are unified and all the parts sing together.
