Masterworks Piano Library, revised edition

This new and improved revised anthology of Music for Advent and Christmas features a panorama of keyboard music from the 18th and 19th centuries, from Pachelbel to Brahms with contributions also from Walther, Daquin, Balbastre, Zachau, Bach, Liszt, and Franck. Some pieces were originally written for organ without pedals, but all work very well on the modern piano. The accompanying recording contains many appropriate ornaments and embellishments not found on the printed page.
