In 2015, as a tribute to her faith and devotion, this setting of the prayer with composed, Daybreak. This piece is written for solo voice, SATB choir, and piano accompaniment. This is an arrangement of the beloved Christmas spiritual, “Rise Up, Shepherd, And Follow”, voiced for a cappella TTBB chorus and soloist, composed in October of 2025. The piece is dedicated to the "Southern Echo Chorale” in Mobile, AL and came about once the group was searching for an accessible men’s chorus arrangement of a well known spiritual for their “Candlelight Christmas Concert”.

Matthew Still (b. 1981) - a native of Mobile AL and works as Director of Music for Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne, AL. Matthew graduated from the University of Alabama with an undergraduate degree in Piano Performance. Published works by the composer include a Mass in Hono
