A sequel to "The Ticking Clock", this is a percussion quintet piece for marimba (two players), vibraphone, xylophone/snare, and glockenspiel. Using variations of the "ticking clock" melody, it takes listeners further along the journey of life's challenges and questions; it is a representation of life's end. ("The End" is a newer work that has never been performed before)
