I have entitled this Trio for Trumpet, Guitar & Contrabass,"Mbisi"; in lingala language means Fish.Indeed,I have chosen this theme due to two reasons:a)Scientific reasons:According to experts,"Fish have a healthy dietary.They provide a high protein content with less calories compared to other meats.Fish are used in scientific research especially in disease control such as controlling mosquito in order to fight malaria and they play a crucial role in terms of biodiversity & ecosystem health."b)Religious reasons:According to the Bible,Apostles were fishing unsuccesfully in the Sea of Galilee.Then Jesus appeared there and asked Peter, "to try one more cast of the net".Finally,they were astonished because of a miraculeous draught of fish' (Luke 5:1-11).Musically speaking,the main rhythmic patterns are triplets,quadruplets,quintuplets,thirty-second & sixty-fourth notes etc.Notice:The use of quadruplets in 3/4 time signature from bar 45 to 50. In addition,this work belongs to Jazz Style but it is also suitable for Classical performers.
