This song was inspired by a true story. One of my students came to rehearsal one afternoon with a severely dented trumpet bell. When I asked them what had happened they explained that their "cat" had knocked it off the table. This in turn also caused the mouthpiece to be unmovable. The students didn't seem phased by my displeasure at the tale. I finally asked what they would say if something like this happened to one of their belongings. The response, "Meh it happens." Let this doo-wop-esque chart be a subtle reminder that sometimes things happen. This chart features tenor saxophone with more than enough space to lament about (INSERT EVENT HERE).
