Melancholia: A series of absurd manic-depressive delusions is a work whose aim is to enable the neurotypical to experience a depressive episode. To those not mentally ill, the experiences of a depressive episode are foreign. They have not experienced the radical and senseless yet sensible ramblings that the depressed subject is experiencing. This work creates a soundscape that allows the listener to experience these delusions.
