Meliae

Meliae is a piece named after wood nymphs. I wrote this piece while wandering in the woods, witnessing the rustling of leaves and the falling and near-death experience of giant tree branches ( Those darn mischievous Faeries!) This is a fun duet that two trombones or two euphoniums can play if you ignore the glissandos. It works as a Concert piece or as a piece where you can pick your favorite movement and work on it with your low brass buddy for Solo and Ensemble!
