Memories is a period piano solo, from the turn of the 20th century
composed by my Great-Grandfather in 1917 after he returned from WWI. I
transcribed it from his handwritten pages, keeping to his original as best I
could. I did, however, change some of his heavy block chords to broken chords
and arpeggios. When I listen to it, it sounds like it might be played in a
saloon or perhaps the background music to Silent Film. It takes approx. 4
minutes to play. The audio file I've included is measures 1-28.
