Menuetto

Written in 1795, Beethoven's first piano sonata was dedicated to Joseph Haydn. This minuet movement is conventional in form, but demonstrates uniqueness with its use of pointed dynamic contrast, syncopation, and dramatic pauses. Arranged for a trio of three B-flat clarinets at an intermediate level.
