Mexican Jumping Beans is a high energy, Latin samba with a fusion edge. It features the first alto, and first tenor on both the theme and solo section. It also features the drummer/percussionist on the vamp out. It has an optional coda (which is pretty sneaky) that features the entire ensemble. Lead trumpet high note is concert D with an optional high A. Due to it's rhythmic complexity it should be considered moderately advanced, and would be a good, high energy "fun" piece for a concert program.
