Its exciting big band writing has memorable melodies and is a great vehicle to feature your alto and trumpet soloists. This chart was written for Miles Osland's celebration of 30 years of masterful teaching at the University of Kentucky. Rhythm section parts are notated as needed, and several alternate parts are included in the set for expanded instrumentation. Sophisticated, creative and appealing!
