Missa Brevis No. 1

Missa brevis no. 1 is more than an expression of faith, it is a teaching work.  With the utilization of rounds, rhythms, passacaglia, imitative counterpoint, jazz, drums, and more, this is accessible to all levels of singers.  From the soaring jazz soprano solo in "Gloria" to the lush romantic conclusion of the "Agnus Dei," this 13 minute mass can be performed with piano alone or with the addition of a woodwind quartet and percussion.  With the addition of online teaching resources, missa brevis no. 1 will soon become a staple in your choirs repertoire.
