Mission Control

Space travel would not be possible without the hundreds of people who work behind the scenes. Tyler Arcari's score celebrates the men and women of mission control centers and Scott Winters' film puts powerful visuals to that celebration. The film moves through different eras of space travel from the Gemini Program to Apollo 11, then on to the Space Shuttle Program. We end with the thrilling first launch of Space X Falcon 9 Crew Dragon in May, 2020.

This synchronized film for concert performance is driven by Ion Concert Media's proprietary Muséik technology. With Muséik, a user controls the pacing of the film to match the pacing of the music, making concert visuals behave like an instrument in your ensemble. The software is easy-to-use and intuitive, and can be used by musicians from middle school to the professional level to achieve a perfect media sync with just 20 minutes of practice.
