Modern Swing

Written with the idea to use contemporary jazz harmonies, with no V-I cadences, but still accessible to developing jazz artists, Modern Swing is a great change of pace tune to add to your repertoire. Sounding more difficult than it is, it will challenge the band with interesting counterpoint, dissonant harmonies and chord progressions. The open solo section features a sample solo in the trumpet 1 part and includes chord changes in all the parts.
