A native of Seoul, South Korea, JooSoo Son, is an organist, pianist, singer, and choral and handbell choir director. She obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Organ from the Korean National University of Arts in Seoul, Korea, and Masters and Doctorate degrees in Organ Performance and Literature at Eastman School of Music.
