Leon Steward (b. 1959) Originally from Baytown, Texas received a B.S. in music theory & composition, and a M.Med from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. Steward taught instrumental music for 38 years all in Texas before retiring in 2019. He has over 400 works to his credit that include band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, percussion and choral.
